San Antonio Tea Party

On April 15, 2009 Kinamo Jr and I went down town to the Alamo in San Antonio to the tax Tea Party. We got there around 2:30 and we were happy to see a big crowed gathering. At 4:00-5:00 Glenn Beck was on stage to do his Fox news show. Then from 6-8 we had the Tea Party. It was an amazing day. The police estimate that 20,000 people attended. For those of you who don't watch Fox, don't know who Glenn Beck is, and don't know what the heck a Tea Party is this means nothing to you. But those of you do, understand the power and excitement this day was. The Tea Party is a stand against government bail outs, government big spending, government debt and Big Government in generally. It was the beginning of a movement to let our voices be heard that we have had enough and aren't going to sit by without letting our voices be heard. I am a very proud American and Texan and believe we owe it to our children to stop the government from spending so much money that we can never pay it off.
