Crazy Hair day

Today in honor of Drug awareness week the kids had crazy hair day. Ashley wouldn't participate. But this is right up Haley's alley and Karley did it because everyone else will be doing it. I love to see how each child has their own personality. With three girls it is fun to have them all so different.

Ashley loves Soccer

Ashley has been playing soccer for two years. She loves this sport, well she loves all sports. She is pretty aggressive. I wouldn't want to come up against this face would you?

HSM3

I must be having a mid-30's crisis. Last week New Kids on the Block, this week High School Musical 3. I must be trying to relive my teen years.

This afternoon I took Haley, Karley and three friends to see HSM3. It was seriously the best movie I have seen in soooo long. I loved it just as much if not more then the girls.

I think the girls might have been embarrassed to have a mom singing and dancing in the movies!

For Time and All Eternity

On Thursday Kinamo and I had the great privilege of witnessing our Dear friends Marlene and Andy Katz be sealed in the Washington DC Temple with their three beautiful children. What an amazing day it was. We were so over whelmed with joy to witness this family come together for all Eternity.

We met the Katz 7 years ago. They took the missionary discussions and were baptized in February 2003. We were so privilege to witness this and support them in this process. The sister missionaries that taught them were also able to attend the sealing. What a great reunion it was.

We are so grateful to have the Katz as our dear friends and to share this journey with them.

NKOTB

Lastnight I took a little journey back in time. My friend Kristina and I went back about 18 years and found ourselves at a New Kids on the Block concert. It was so much fun. I truly felt 17 again.

Fall, the best time of year.

This weekend I took a little time away from the kids and went to see my sister Paula in MD. Her and her husband Mat have a beautiful vacation home in West Virginia. We spent the weekend there taking in all the beautiful fall colors. The leaves were at their peak fall colors. We hiked everyday and took in the colors and fresh air. It was the perfect get away. I really enjoyed my time with them and their sweet 6 month old daughter Payton. Thanks to my dear husband and friends for helping with the kids so I could go.

HGTV in the works

Now that the kids are back in school and I have a little more time on my hands I started decorating my home. I started with our "Peaceful" room. It feels so good to come in this room and just sit. I love the quiet moments I have and we have as a family in this room. It is my favorite room in my home.

Joys of modern TV

After 12 1/2 years of taking us to the church to watch all sessions of General Conference we entered the world of watching from the comforts of home. Saturday Joey and I were still not feeling well so we decided to stay home and watch conference. It was so awesome. The kids set quiet, colored and listened. Kinamo and I got more out of it then any other time. So we chose to stay home today. I must say that as long as we have cable (which we have only had it for one month after 7 years) we will take complete advantage of this modern technology.

Little Breakfast where you can get it.

This week Joey and I have been sick. So one morning for breakfast Joey got a bag of crackers and a cup a milk. He chose to eat it in our bathroom by the tub. He is just like the four other kids and can't be more then a few feet away from my side. I must say I really do love having them by me all the time.
